The World Is Square
05:01
|
|||
Same hypotheses everywhere:
The world is flat and square
Walk off the edge
Through space and time to reappear (on the other side).
Faith in ‘Square Earth’
Made me a better person
While everything else was chaos My world became secure
The world is my castle Surrounded on four sides By a square ocean Protected by a moat of ice
It doesn’t speed through space But rooted somehow,
Still, calm, glorious
Epicentre of the universe.
Rhyme (spoken word)
I see four spirits
Standing at the four corners of the earth, Holding back the four winds of the earth To prevent any wind from blowing
On the land
Or on the sea Or on any tree.
Into the wilderness
Up a high mountain
The third spirit leads the way Then lightning strikes
The fourth spirit approaches
I see his face
Within it is the form
OF FOUR LIVING CREATURES!
The moon is a projection
A hologram
A doctored NASA photo Creating a false perception
Thousands of years
Of fake science
Everything you’ve ever known Is a deception

Afternoon Tea
06:47
|
|||
Teatime!
Between the Earth and Mars
Revolving about the sun
In an elliptical orbit
There is a teapot
Obscured by stars and distance
The teapot is too small
To be revealed by our telescopes
Our view is distorted
What a glow does the teapot bring
After a walk in chilly rain!
It is the comforts of solitude
And the pleasures of company
Affirmed in ancient books
Taught as the sacred truth (every Sunday)
Instilled in minds of children
There is a teapot
Let’s have a cup of tea
With herbal healing powers,
Quiet, in flux, craved for thirst,
Like beauty, taught by fire
What a glow does the teapot bring
After a walk in chilly rain!
It is the comforts of solitude
And the pleasures of company

Tides
04:38
|
|||
Arching over endless blue
Flies the night sky kite, unaware
Of the white bright light
That glows from the full moon
An inverted canopy of blackened silk
The ocean gazes back at me
Undercurrents of sleepless wander
About imaginary shores
The unknown beckons:
'Come, drifting soul
Surrender
Become submerged, invulnerable
Why is it that I stay ashore
In a self-awareness wasteland?
Why don't I dare to dive
And wash away yesterday?
The tide has ceased
but will be back for me
Seizing what cannot resist
Engulfing all that's left
